Intellectual Property

There are a few simple points:
1. By submitting your work you give us permission to process and store your work. It is a part of our Terms and Conditions (available within the same tab). Any none winning and not shortlisted work will be deleted from our system within 14 calendar days from the date of announcement of the winners.
2. If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to publish your work in our anthology.
This request is always made direct after winners are announced.
3. The copyrights to your work belongs to you. We are simply asking for your permission to publish your work, to showcase our winners within our annual anthology.
NEXT POINT IS VERY IMPORTANT AND differentiates us from many other competitions out there:
We DO NOT seek irrevokable rights for your work!
Unlike other, we don’t ask you to grant us rights to reprint your work indefinitely.
We ask to publish your work in our annual anthology and keep the publishing rights for 3 years ONLY since the publication date, after which all rights revert back to you and you are free to share and print your work elesewhere.
Within this term (3 years) you are asked not to publish this particular work anywhere else.
We want to promote the anthologies and our writers, giving them the most possible exposure, utilising marketing and various sales channels, gather an attention and recognition our writers deserve.
You are free to publish, sell etc your piece at the end of the 3 year period.
